Hi, In recent version (at least 2012.12), there is a case something wrong around UiPath.Excel or UiPath.Excel.Helpers namespace. For example, the following error occurs when use UiPath.Excel.Helpers.ExcelUtilities.ConvertColumnLetterToColumnIndex method. [1] I did some tries such as importing UiPath.Excel.Helpers manualy, replace new activity , restarting Studio etc, the problem is solved for some reason… (However when I create a new project, there is same issue.) Append multiple Data Tables in to an existing Excel file starting from a specific column

Hi @Sidney_Vogel , If all the data tables follow the same data structure(at least same number of columns), I would suggest to merge the data tables first using Merge Data Table activity and then write to a specific cell using Write Range.

Ability To Generate Number Of Cases In Switch Activity

I would like to suggest a useful feature request in the switch activity if we can generate any number of cases for any variable type. I had more than 300 key cases in my project and I literally enter each number manually which took me a lot of time. It would be better if we can set a number and have the cases autogenerated quickly. Hello everybody, I am reaching out to the community since I am stuck with this problem: I got several projects which have loading issues when using the ‘Use Excel File’ scope. It takes about 1,5 Minutes to open the Excel Files each time. I don’t understand what is taking Studio so long to open the files. Not able to see the xaml file from the extracted .nupkg file

It seems that when you published the process from Studio to Orchestrator you didn’t choose the Source files option. [image] Republish the project and then check again. Hi @Sc100 , Have you tried executing with that settings/Regex Expression ? It does not necessarily indicate always the capturing of all the lines. Check by executing first and let us know if you are still not able to get the results.

Hi Anil, I figured it out! I had saved my macros under a certain spreadsheet as opposed to putting them in a Module. I guess I wasn’t being detailed enough with my descriptions. So I should have originally listed my macro as “Sheet1.A_ImportTemplateAndClearOutOldData” instead of “A_ImportTemplateAndClearOutOldData”. for anyone else out there with this issue, if you switch the option to “All open workbooks” like in the screenshot below, you’ll get the proper name you should put into the UiPath…

What this means for you is that you are no longer forced by Chrome to upgrade to an UiPath version that has MV3 extensions for Chrome/Edge. But eventually Chrome/Edge will force the transition to MV3. And UiPath is prepared for that - all existing and future versions of UiPath will install MV3 extensions for Chrome/Edge.

What is the ideal way of creating libraries?

in every project that we develop, remove the unused dependecies will be a good practice to apply, no matters if the projects is a sequence or library etc, we should remove all of them and just keep the used dependencies. Library won’t affect the project perfomance, just remember to publish then in the orchestrator if you will move to production environment For example if you run the analyze file it will retrieve you a warning in case that you dont delete the unused depencies [image] Regards! …

One environment per tenant?

I should have mentioned that I’m talking about Orchestrator Cloud (and not on-prem) because that appears to make a big difference. With the Cloud version, it seems like the multi-tenant approach is good enough, as explained by @Anil_G. On the other hand, with the on-prem version, multiple Orchestrator instances is probably best, as explained by @vishnuvarthanp. Since my case is the former, I suppose Anil’s solution is the most relevant, although I appreciate Vishnu’s as well.

@jaime.salazar So …to answer your question let me give ypu scenarios… When using on prem people prefer multiple orchestrators as it would be easier for upgrade of different environment… But when coming to automation cloud the upgrades and load balancing is not taken care by us…which is much smoother…so a multi tenant would be good as per the licensing cost and the ease of access Hope this helps Cheers

Read Range Workbook returns me error "Implement it based on poi 4.2 in the future"

Thank you for your support, I had already had that settings. Apparently that’s an error message that pops up when a file could be encrypted. I used that workaround: Give up Read Range Workbook activity Use (inside Excel Process Scope and Use Excel Files activities) a For each Sheet in Excel Then add an If with the following condition: CurrentSheet.Name.Contains([KEYWORDS]) Finally add a Read Range from Excel package. This solution is slower but works fine

Datatable Manipulation To Converge Specific Rows of a Specific Column

@FilipeChiou , I believe this could be done by @Yoichi 's Implementation provided above, You would just require to perform the Operation of Deciding if it is OK or not OK inside the For Each Loop and then maybe use an If Condition and decide if it is OK or NOK using an Assign Activity. As the logic of Deciding OK or NOK is still not exposed to us, we could only maybe suggest you the approach. Let us know if you were not able to understand the above approach suggested.

Hi @Yoichi, I would like to apoligize, I shouldve understood your reply and think about it further rather than respond immediately (I am a beginner in UiPath), yes you are absolutely right, I dont need to create an dt_aux since I can just put an if in the for each to run only on NULL rows. I am sorry for wasting your time, I should read and understood your reply more carefully. Lesson Learned Thank you @Yoichi and @supermanPunch for your time and help, its solved now!

Compilation Error in Process but not in Library: "Expression Activity type 'VisualBasicValue`1' requires compilation in order to run. Please ensure that the workflow has been compiled."

Hi, everyone. This issue is most likely due to 1 or more package misalignments. Specifically, the library is using UiPath.System.Activities 22.4.5, but the process that is using that library is on 22.10.3. Furthermore, our Studio is version 22.4. Issue running bot after moving the project to a different system

After long time spent, found that issue was because of Check Activity, I have used this for radio buttons, check boxes. I have changed the activity based on version and this worked fine.
