You can do it by adding a text field which has the error message, mark it as hidden by default and showcase that error message whenever the text of these two components are not matched. you can do this comparison with the help of Advanced condition option using JavaScript. You can put the condition on the submit button to be disabled, if that text box component is visible I posted a tutorial on how to use condition. I am sure this will help, do try it out.

Got it. I think a better plan would be to use the filter data table activity into a temporary datatable, and iterate through that. See the attached .xaml for guidance. It’s filtering the table 3 times, one for each letter. Then you can use the switch for any activities unique to the particular letter Sand.xaml (8.6 KB)

How does UiPath get the XML file of the program?

They aren’t .exe files. They’re applications running. Everything is an object, a UI element. Every open window, every button, every menu, every menu item, every web page title, link, button, every every little thing is an object to Windows. UiPath is just getting the properties of those objects from Windows. Windows also provides ways to interact with the ui elements either by controlling mouse/kb or “under the hood.” A selector is a path to an object, stated in XML format.

Hi Locking a system is fine bot will try to login and run But while shutdown robot won’t work that When the machine is switched off, it will try to run the job, but it will fail because there is no machine available to run the process. Interesting but I feel like this requires one more license to run a robot and send the signal and the respective machine is like on sleep mode The message is usually sent to the target computer by a program executed on a device connected to the same local area network If it’s in sleep mode it is still possible But being at shutdown is like machine is turned off - no power transmitted Which will eventually fail when orchestrator searches for it as a robot Cheers @Yoichi @Michal_Podlasin

Get orchestrator asset does not work with assets of type credential

Hi @Hima, This because get asset activity can’t fetch assets of type credentials. It can only fetch assets of type string,into,bool etc To fetch credentials from orchestrator asset, please use ‘Get Credentials’ activity. Also please note that currently you have defined credential asset name under asset sheet in config file. So please remove that row from there and keep in settings or constants sheet. Hi @Maria99 When you newly create or open an xaml in UiPath Studio, there are some folders and files generated automatically. Amongst them is the project json file. (Just like what happened when I opened your Reconcile.xaml file in my Downloads folder.) Copy file activity not working for directory length more than 248 characters

Hi @Ritika_Singh Just a quick suggestion though I don’t know if it will work, if the error is due to the file name character count why can’t we rename the file before coy file activity and make to its original name after that. Thanks
