Forum user journey and Community Moderation initiative
This document is part of our beginners guide.
This article will let you know how you can help us grow as a community! It will first go over basic Forum functionalities and then focus on how you can help us moderate our Forum content.

Our UiPath Forum is hosted by Discourse which provides several cool features that allow you to grow as a user.

It allows you to:
- Edit all posts
Pin/unpin topic- Close topics
Archive topics- Make topics unlisted
- Split and merge topics
Reset topic bump date- Daily like limit increased by 3Ă
- Any TL4 flag cast on any post immediately takes effect and hides the target post
(when you reach this level, we will kindly ask you to not use the options which are crossed-out on the above list)
This is also the trust level you will automatically get when you join our @Forum_Moderators_2024 group (read below how to get there ).

Community Moderators initiative
What is it about?
We are happy to let our Community manage our Forum as much as possible. This is why we selected most frequent Forum contributors to help us recategorize and tag new topics, as well as flag the content that does not follow our basic Community Guidelines.
Extra perks:
- your own space to discuss content moderation (group on the Forum and group on the Community Slack
- access to special lists that will help you get an overview of the Forum content
How to join the Community Moderators group?
Keep contributing! We are always on the lookout for new Community Moderators who would be eager to reinforce the group.
If you are wondering how you can contribute in the meantime, please check the list of available permissions for your Trust Level above. For example, by reaching the status of a Regular user (trust level 3), you can already help our community by recategorizing topics which were posted in wrong categories, as well as editing the titles of the topics if they happen to be not descriptive enough.
Naturally, you can also flag obvious spam posts to keep our Forum clean.
Future community moderators will have to have substantial contributions in these areas for them to be considered.
If you have reached trust level 3 (Regular), you can already help out a lot!
This trust level allows you to Recategorize and rename topics. Feel free to make use of this feature, it helps out a lot!
