Internet Connection To Run RPA Process In A Virtual Machine

Dear All,

I have hosted a RPA application/process inside a Virtual machine and in the orchestrator I have put my packages. Using UiPath assistant connected to the orchestrator I run the RPA application. This RPA process take more than three hours to finish. My question is does it need to have continuous internet connection in the virtual machine while running the RPA process to the orchestrator . Kindly note I am using community edition with attended robot for the project. Thank you.

At the risk of sounding silly, you could test it by turning off your network for a bit to see what happens.

I believe it used to be possible to set it up, see here:

But I’m not sure if this setting is there for Cloud Orchestrator (if you use it) and/or for newer versions of the on-prem ones.

If you are an enterprise customer, feel free to make a ticket with our technical support though for more information
