[Help] I have my projects in Windows Legacy and the option to migrate to Windows does not appear

Hello everyone,
I hope you can help me with these questions, knowing all the news about Windows Legacy.

My development team is working with UiPath Studio Enterprise (licensed) version 21.10.9 and all the projects in REFramework that we have created are developed in Windows Legacy.

Now, when I try to create a new project to select the Windows option, instead of Windows Legacy, the option does NOT appear on the screen.

Also, when I try to convert my REFramework project to Windows in the options, I don’t see the “Convert to Windows” option.

This is where I have the following queries:
1.Does my version of UiPath Studio 21.10.9 need to be converted to Windows?
2.Is there a different way to do the conversion?
3. Regarding the creation of libraries, should I create them in Windows Legacy and not worry?
4.Will keeping Windows legacy affect my version of UiPath?

I would greatly appreciate your support and responses.

@postwick - Hi Paul, just a follow-up as the solution was found by Bhanu when I contacted UiPath customer support. The issue simply is that they introduced this feature as 2022.10, and not the version I have (2022.4). Thank you for your follow-ups and suggestions in this thread. From the next versions you have the windows option…your version does not have it…please upgrade the studio to get the options

Hi,

LegacyToWindows migrator is implemented since 22.10 version as the following document.
So if you use Studio 21.10, there is no way to convert legacy to Windows except upgrade to 22.10 or higher.

It’s no problem to use Windows-Legacy in Studio 21.10. However, please note that extended support for 21.10 will be expired within this year.
