Help. I have a very complex bot I created years ago over a period of months. I don’t run it often so this is the first time the phase out has hit me. If I’m honest I didn’t understand that the phasing out of creating windows-legacy projects was going to impact me either as I had nothing new I wanted to create at that time.
I’m now trying to follow the instructions here, but I don’t see the option to convert(see attached). Am I doing something stupid, wrong and/or way too late? I’m using Studio Community, latest version.
I’m hoping I don’t have to rebuild it from the ground up again.
Sorry @ashokkarale, I have:
Studio 2025.0.157-cloud.18912 - 12/12/2024 Community License
Per-user Installation
License Provider: Orchestrator
Activation ID:
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
8.0.11
Studio 2025.0.157 already does not support Windows-Legacy. If we open legacy project, it will be converted to Windows project with notification.
So can you check your project type in project panel as the following? If it’s Windows, your project is already converted.
In this case you can’t use Legacy version without upgrading to Windows. If you are able to open and interact with code which means it’s already upgraded. No action needed!
