Developer License connection

Hi,

I am assisting my client with install and licensing robots & developers. Previously to allocate a license to a named user I have done this by editing the user in the tenant, under Attended Robot select ‘Automatically create an attended robot for this user’ and assign the RPA developer license type. However, in the clients Cloud Orch, the user profile no longer has setting for Attended Robot when I try to edit. Now it looks like Developer licenses are assigned at the Cloud Orch level, outside the tenant. This seems to coincide with the move to make Modern folders mandatory. Does anyone have steps on how to license the developer now? We assigned a license to the user in the Cloud Orch Admin section but on the machine it still says Connected, Unlicensed. (I do not have screenshots yet)

Hi everybody,

I am afraid that we have the same problem, because we just created the first modern folders and assigned to users there. But we are now not able to assign the developer licence to these two user.
We got also all the time the error message, that the roboter is connected to the orchestrator (on premise and not in the cloud) but has no licence.

Thanks for any assitance and/or help.

I had some help from the UiPath team. The item I was missing was on the creation of the Developer user in the tenant. Ensure that the setting “Automatically create a robot for this user” is turned on.

@dgreen Thanks for your advice, but I think we already have this option checked, as you can see here:

Any further hints for me?
