The button "change application" doesn't appear in App/web recorder

Hello everyone. I would be very grateful y someone can tell me what I have to configure in uiPath Studio to see the button “change application” and record actions in more than one application at a time. I just see the buttons “Record/Pause” and “Save” but I need the “change application button to use copy text in other app and I dosen’t appear”

Actually, is this due to the fact that it is only possible to do in StudioX, as regular Studio would just use a new container?

I’ve just given it a try on both Studio and StudioX profile and 21.6 version and it looks like you can just seemingly take an action in different apps and the recorder will understand what is happening:

Could you maybe elaborate on your issue? :slight_smile: Also, it might already help to update the UIAutomatoin activity package in the Package Manager.

Alright, sounds good. It was not really an issue, more something I was confused about. I was doing a UI Automation course on the UiPath Academy that told me to use the “Change Application” functionality described above, which confused me. It’s all good now, thanks for the response. However, I cannot respond on behalf of the others.
