Unable to find App/Web recorder Icon under Design Tab

Hello There,

I have recently installed UiPath Studio (version 2025.0.157) on my system. However, I am unable to locate the App/Web Recorder icon under the Design tab.

• I am using the Trial version of UiPath Studio.
• I have checked that the UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities package is installed, but the recorder still does not appear.
• Could you please confirm if the App/Web Recorder functionality is available in the trial version of UiPath Studio?
  *Are there any additional steps or settings required to enable the App/Web Recorder in this version?

I would appreciate your guidance on resolving this issue.

Hi,

Can you check if UiPath.UiAutoamtion.Activities package is installed correctly in project panel? If not, can you try to install it or to fix problem regarding it?

Hi @Shakib Please make sure the UIAutomation package is installed The new Studio version offers a lighter installer, which also means that only the System activity package comes pre-installed for your new projects. Right after you install the UIAutomation package, it will show up again

From your screenshot we can see, that UiPath.UiAutomation.Activities is NOT referenced:

So just use Manage Packages and add UiPath.UiAutomation.Activities to the project dependencies
