Task - ReOpen

Hello All,

Im trying to re-open a task in Action Center. so here is how it works.
When ever you submit a task in the Action Center a unique task ID will be created and once you hit submit the column “IsCompleted” becomes 1 in the DB.So this means the Task is completed.

I searched a lot but couldnt get any articles to re-open a task, So using the task Id , I Manually changed the IsCompleted = 0 in the DB so ideally the task is not complete and is waiting for action.

But for some reason, Wait for Form task and Resume activity doesnt work in this case since i have changed the value in DB and just stays in suspended state.

Does any one have any ideas to re-open a task?

I need to re-open a task if the values displayed in Action Center get rejected by the Approver
