Studio Community version license

Hello all.
Can anyone help me with my community edition studio?
I tried installing and activating it but it seems like I don’t have available studio license based on my cloud. But I see that I have 2 free license for StudioPro which I don’t have an installer.
I downloaded the studio community from the resources tab

here’s the information on license allocation

@marj0sa

By default the community version studio is a pro, so you can create robot as studio pro license and then you are free to use

Hope this helps you

Thanks

Thanks. I tried that one and although I was able to provision the bot, my studio still won’t connect.image

@marj0sa

Can you share the Orchestrator settings screenshot you are using?

Thanks

here’s the robot settings

the machine settings

and the orchestrator connection screen from the studio

I’m having a guess that it has something to do with how I created the robot instance.
I checked the machines tab and it can detect the installed version on my computer

can you suggest what could be the correct domain\user to use?
workgroup: workgroup
computer name: desktop-gc4u1it
user name: inno

@marj0sa

If the license is for StudioPro, why there was License for Unattended Runtimes and Testing Runtimes?

Can you follow the steps as below

Hope this helps you

Thanks

@marj0sa

go to command prompt and give a command as ‘whoami’

the result was the correct way to give the correct domain

Hope this helps

Thanks

did that already and got this
C:\Users\Inno>whoami
desktop-gc4u1it\inno

and I already used that in the robot settings but the issue’s still the same. it prompts “Robot does not exist”

@marj0sa

Instead of interactive, go to uipath assistant(You can search in start)

In the system tray right click on the Icon and choose orchestrator settings

there you can try for the settings and let us know if same error persists

Thanks

I already made it to connect to orchestrator. instead of floating robot, I re-created it as standard.
UiPath assistant already showed the status connected, but the next problem is it’s showing connected, unlicensed

@marj0sa

Okay, In Machines, Can you make 0 for license Unattended robot and Testing Runtime and update

Thanks

already did that when you previously mentioned it

@marj0sa

Can you share the machine screenshot again?

I believe it’s in small characters? If so can you make machine name with DESKTOP-GC4U1IT and try connecting

Thanks

updated it and tried connecting with the updated machine key

still unlicensed.

I am getting the exact same issue as marj0sa. @loginerror, is this a known issue?

Thanks for your assistance.

Hi @marj0sa

Have you already tried going through these two videos? They might make things more clear:
