Invoke workflow activity not supporting Variables/arguments for workflow file names in Windows cross-platform projects?

Is UiPath planning to support Variables or arguments for workflow file names in Windows cross-platform projects in the invoke workflow activity anytime soon or has it already been implemented in recent versions? As of now this triggers an ‘Expressions are currently not supported’ error notification, and I am using studio version 2023.4

@Athira

It is supported now…added back in 23.10

Cheers

It looks like although variables are supported now Invoke workflow activity doesn’t support invoking a xaml file which is outside the Project folder

@Athira

For that we use invoke process and not workflow…because it is teo different projects

One way is copy the whole project into this …which again is aduplication instead use invoke process for different project

Cheers

It works in Windows - Legacy

@Athira

Yes in windows it does not work like that…both are different

Thats one main reason why invoke process is there

Cheers

Can we use Invoke Process activity to run workflows that are not published, not available in assistant/ Orchestrator? I read that it can be, but didn’t work as expected when I tried.

@Athira

IDEALLY NO AS OF NOW…YOU NEED to publish

cheers
