When I open an application using "Run as another user", Studio cannot access the opened application

Our Use Case is to use an unattended robot user that logs into the machine, opens a desktop application as another user, and then does some work in that application. The idea was to prevent the robot from having direct access to the application and to be able to rotate the password used regularly. The idea was that the robot would retrieve the password for this other user from our Thycotic Secret Server before opening the application.

I can use the recorder to open a program as another user, but then I can’t access that program anymore. Everything works fine if I open the program as the user logged into the machine, but if I open the application as another user, I get an “Access is denied” error when trying to access it.

Has anyone else overcome this kind of situation?
