Unable to detect element in IE

My PC has been working fine for years but suddenly it is unable to detect the element in IE. At the same time Chrome is normal. Does anyone face the same issue before ?

Mostly related to IE extension of UiPath. You can check following things

  1. Go to extensions in the Internet Explorer and confirm that the UiPath extension is available and enabled

  2. Go to Studio → Tools and check whether IE extension is installed or not

  1. If both are installed - Confirm that the private mode and allow access to URL in the details section of extension. Close the broser and try again

  1. Last - Try uninstalling the extension and reinstall again

Thank you for your reply. But I am talking about Internet Explorer instead of Edge which no extension should be required.

My bad

As per my knowledge - UiPath is not supporting IE anymore. It was suggested to migrate to supported browser

In your case - Is it possible to migrate to Edge as IE is depricated

It is required time to make the change. Will there be an interim solution on it ?

Take a copy of your project as a backup first

I would suggest you to change the browser to Edge and see how it is progressing.

It shouldn’t take much time to migrate. Once you start the process - I think you will be comfortable in migration.

Meanwhile - I will post if I get any interim solution
