UiPath Studio uninstalled automatically

Hi Community,

I’m using my personal laptop to practice UiPath. Two days back I have shutdown my system and today I was trying to open XAML file and can see there is no UiPath Studio in my system.

Last week I got notifications to update UiPath but I’ve not updated. Is that an issue ?

Please help me out.
Thanks in Advance:-)

Hi @Vaishnav_Tej ,

Not updating UiPath Studio shouldn’t cause the software to disappear from your system. However, it is generally recommended to keep the software up to date to ensure that you have access to the latest features and bug fixes.

you will need to reinstall UiPath Studio on your computer. You can download the latest version of UiPath Studio from the UiPath website and follow the installation instructions. If you had any workflows or projects saved in UiPath Studio, make sure to back them up before reinstalling the software to avoid losing your work.

How to take backup before reinstalling ?

Hi @Vaishnav_Tej,

Check this steps

  1. Open UiPath Studio and navigate to the projects you want to backup.
  2. Right-click on the project folder and select “Export” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Choose a location on your computer to save the project backup, and click “Export” to save it.
  4. Repeat this process for each project you want to backup.
  5. If you have any custom activities, packages or workflows, you can also export them using the “Manage Packages” option in UiPath Studio.
  6. Once you have backed up your projects and custom components, you can proceed with the uninstallation and reinstallation of UiPath Studio.

Please go to your orchestrator…

And on right top click on the user icon…where you have downloads option…click on it and download the studio mai file again and try installing using that…

First check in control panel → add programs and features and uninstall the studio if already present and then try to reinstall
