Troubleshooting UiPath Studio setup error

Good morning, if someone could please help me finish setting up the UiPath Studio program on my laptop, I am getting this error and I haven’t been able to solve it for days.

Hi @Francisco_Alberto_Garagun ,
Can you please check these once:

  1. Verify your license
    • Go to Automation Cloud → Admin → Licenses.
    • Make sure your user has a Studio/Developer license assigned.
  2. Check user assignment
    • In Orchestrator → Manage Access, confirm your user is added to the tenant and the correct folder.
    • Verify that a robot account is linked to your user.
  3. Use the correct Service URL
    • Instead of manually entering the Orchestrator URL, try Sign in with UiPath Cloud directly.
    • If your organization provided a custom URL, confirm it is correct.
  4. Sign out and reconnect
    • Open UiPath Assistant.
    • Sign out.
    • Delete the local machine connection and sign in again.
  5. Reinstall/Repair Studio
    • If the configuration is corrupted, run the UiPath installer and choose Repair, then reconnect to Automation Cloud.

Thanks

Hi @Francisco_Alberto_Garagun,

This error usually means your account exists but has no license/robot allocated in Orchestrator yet. Studio is trying to run in Unattended mode but can’t find a robot tied to your user key.

Go to cloud.uipath.com and log in as the account owner (or ask whoever administers your tenant). Navigate to Admin → Licenses → Users. Under “License allocations to users,” click Allocate licenses. In Names, enter the email you use to sign in to Studio. Select Automation Developer – Named User and then Save. Restart UiPath Studio/Assistant and log in again.

If you’re the only user on this tenant and don’t have admin rights, whoever set up the account for you (IT, or you under a different email) needs to do this allocation.

If this doesn’t resolve it, log out of both Studio and Assistant, restart the machine, and log back in to see if that fixes the issue.

Cheers!

Hi @Francisco_Alberto_Garagun,

Welcome to the community.

Your need to sign-in into UiPath assistant then re-lauch the studio.

Thanks!
