Open Browser: Cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath extension error

I am getting the following error while running the process from orchestrator on production environment where studio is not installed. The extension is installed on google chrome through command prompt.

Open Browser: Cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath extension.

Can anyone help what could be the problem?

hello @fernando_zuluaga as i mentioned earlier this is production env so there is no studio. Only way i can install is through command prompt. I have tried reinstalling it also. Any other suggestion?

Have you validated that it is actually installed though? Open Chrome and check it.

After installation did you happen to open chrome and enabled it?
