On Sign In error Received: No such host is known

Hi,

I am unable to Sign In to get started, following are steps

  1. open UIPath Studio
  2. Enter Service URL “UiPath”, below error shown:
    “No such host is known”
    kindly guide.

Hey @Farrukh_Munir

Are you using Cloud or On-Premise Orchestrator ?

This usually occurs because of few things as below,

  • The site is itself not present (Make sure URL is right)

  • If the site is restricted like you may need to use VPN to access it (Make sure you have access to the network - try opening the URL in the browser)

  • Use proper protocol as the URL is hosted - http or https

Hey Nithin,

I am using Cloud and following is the URL, I am assuming the following is the URL for Orchestrator, UiPath did send me any URL in my email

https://cloud.uipath.com/alliedbank/DefaultTenant/orchestrator_/?tid=1009356&fid=2930817

Looks okay. I’m assuming you can able to open it in your browser manually & login successfully.

Just use this URL in the Assistant & try please - UiPath Orchestrator

This URL is working, but how can I open studio? when I tried to open the UiPath Studio; it was asking Service URL, which is not working

Hi! welcome to community!

can we try like this!

sign out from the cloud(https://cloud.uipath.com/) assistant and studio.

create an account in cloud and sign in with the same account!

open UiPath Assistant and navigate to user icon->Preferences->Orchestrator settings->You can use Service URL or also Machine key to connect to the orchestrator.

once done the above steps. this will automatically log in to the cloud,studio and assistant.

and also check the mail id which you used to login sometimes we might use other mail id instead of registered mail.

Hi,
I have follow the steps, but click on sign in button but nothing happens.
I am assuming following is the Service URL, I didn’t receive any from UiPath, how can I login? its seems complex

Hi!

No need to worry just open that url !

You have click sign in or login button! after that you have to sign up by using your business or normal Mail id. Then you have to create one organization(You can change the organization settings later).

After this you can see the cloud account looks like this!

Hey!

The service URL should looks like: https://cloud.uipath.com

clear the alliebank from the url. now click the sign in this will takes you to the cloud login from there.

In the meantime, could you please run this in your Windows command lines and send us the output?
nslookup cloud.uipath.com

It might be a DNS server issue.
