I am trying to make a process that can translate a scanned pdf that contains tables into an excel document. The scan quality varies quite a bit, and I cannot rely on structured data or string manipulation very easily. One idea I had was to make an on-click activity that can use my mouse position to perform a relative scrape. This would be useful because it could be highly repeatable for a variety of different statements, but I don’t know if this is possible. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

I’m also working on a ICR and OCR project using Abbyy flexicapture. and you can create layouts for whatever the scanned pdf documents which you’ve chosen to extract data. after getting the data you can directly save them to a excel sheet or to a database.or else you can connect UIpath with the abbyy flexicapture engine using a connector and you can do whatever the changes and complete your task.
but remember for a better data extraction you need to have scanned documents with 300dpi.
