How to unlink project from Test Manager for update the existing flow

Test template project was published on Orchestrator and linked with test manager. It has executed from test manager several times. The existing xaml files are changed & unable to modify and test case icon also changed to workflow icon once linked to test manager. I have unable to update any code changes on existing file after “unlink” from test manager. I need clear procedure for unlink test case and do code changes.

Sure @Julian_Muhlbauer . I have published test project and linked to test manager also. I want to do some modification on existing code and tried to unlink from test manager. I have clicked “unlink” option from test case in test manager. But Test Case converted into workflow in UiPath Studio and unable to do any modification in activities. Please find screenshots for your reference.

So, as I understand it, this is how you unlinked your test case: Test Suite - Unlink Automation.

Regarding your workflow, can you convert it back to a test case? What happens then?

I have using “Test Automation Framework”. I have clicked “Unlink Automation” from Test Case. After convert into Test case the template has changed and existing workflow also changed and unable to modify. And unable to find message box activity in activities tab also. Please find the screenshots.

@baranidharan.gajendran you can still update the workflow you dont need to unlink you can update / make the change in Test case then publish that again

if you want to unlink then do this way :

  1. unlink from studio
  2. then unlink form test manager
  3. then delete that test case if required

Just remove the runtime activities from your code and install the official one from the manager

Package - UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities.RunTime To —> UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities
