How to create a floating robot in Uipath Orchestrator in 2022 version?

Dear nitin,
Both of the robots have been configured with same machine key.

Hey @Fahad_Masood

I understood your query. It doesn’t work like that.

As discussed you need to create two user profiles in the same system.

This will help you run two bots at the same time in the same machine provided you hav two licenses.

Ref - High-Density Robots

Hope that helps.

Thanks

dear nitin,

I’m not sure if this is applicable to non-server machines !

dear nitin,
kindly look at this video and let me know is this a floating robot.

dear nitin,
kindly waiting for your response. do look at the video and let me know about it. both machines are same and so is the license key. set the trigger time by 1 minute for both process to be executed.

dear nitin,
need your approval on a video if this is a floating robot.

Sorry for the delay @Fahad_Masood

My only query, if it is from one robot on various machines.

If that is confirmed, then yes that’s a floating robot !

This is the default behaviour in all modern folder approach as of now.

Thanks

Dear nitin,
I’ve connected rpa floating 1 and 2 robot on 2 servers with same machine and key. As you can see from the screenshot. Let me know if it is floating robot or not.

Keep only one robot account & have two machines connected.

Now run a job in two machines with same robot account.

So one robot floats in two different machines

dear nitin,
i tried to do what you’ve told me to do but it didn’t work cause he robot account ask for domain\username and you can only give one. i even tried to add a new machine to see if that works but it didn’t. any solution you can provide. i only have 1 robot account.

You can’t create two robots, I mean to say one robot and two machines - Do you have this in Orchestrator?

Hey @Fahad_Masood

Also please show your machine page & robots screenshot with the configured machine highlighted and the robots ?

Thanks
#nK

dear nitin,
kindly look at the screenshots that you have asked for.

Perfect, Now you have one robot and a template.

I hope you already have two machines connected to that particular template ?

dear nitin,
i am using the same machine key on 2 windows.
