Constructive Feedback on Solution Architect Certification Experience

Hi Fellow UiPath Practitioners,

I wanted to share some constructive feedback following a recent attempt at the UiPath Solution Architect certification, with the hope that it may be helpful to others preparing for the exam and to the UiPath certification team.
Context:
I previously held the UiPath Solution Architect certification (earned in 2021) and have continued working closely with the platform as it has expanded across RPA, AI, and orchestration capabilities.
:one: Exam scope vs. Preparation misalignment
The current exam reflects the breadth of the modern UiPath platform, which is understandable and appropriate for a Solution Architect role. In my case, the exam appeared to span roughly 25+ product areas/modules, with multiple questions per module (approximately 1–4 each).
While I completed the recommended learning paths thoroughly and attempted the mock exams multiple times (Automation Solution Architect Training (v2024.10)), I found that the mock questions and learning checks seemed more aligned with earlier platform versions, whereas the actual exam leaned heavily into newer capabilities and the broader product ecosystem.
This isn’t a criticism of exam rigor but rather a suggestion that it may help candidates if the preparation materials more explicitly reflect the current exam’s breadth and emphasis, or clearly point to an updated preparation path.

:two: Certification transition & voucher eligibility
As someone who held the Advanced Developer and Solution Architect certifications since 2021, prior to the transition to Pearson VUE, I found that the REFRESH2026 voucher eligibility appears to depend on certifications that exist in the Pearson portal (Advanced Developer). This may unintentionally exclude legacy Solution Architect certification holders who are actively attempting to recertify under the new program.
I have reached out through support channels regarding voucher eligibility and may be missing the correct process or escalation path.

Questions for clarification:

  1. How should pre‑Pearson VUE legacy Developer / Advanced Developer / Solution Architect certification holders be correctly mapped to the current certification framework and use refresh vouchers (such as REFRESH2026)?
  2. Is there a preferred support channel or escalation path for certification transition and voucher‑eligibility questions, particularly for legacy certifications during the Pearson VUE migration?
  3. Is there a recommended or updated preparation path other than Automation Solution Architect Training (v2024.10) specifically aligned with the current Solution Architect exam scope and product coverage?

Sharing this in the spirit of clarity and continuous improvement. Any guidance from the UiPath team would be appreciated.

Overall, I appreciate the continued evolution of the certification program and the higher bar it sets. I’m sharing this feedback in the spirit of improving clarity and alignment for candidates navigating the current certification landscape.
