Confusing Attended Robot Setup

Hi All,

I am having a difficult time setting up a simple attended Robot. Most documentation seem to be outdated and doesn’t match with the recent Ui of the on-premises Orchestrator version (2023).
Here are the few thing I tried:

  1. Create a user (The licenses page shows 1 lincense consumed our of 5 available ones as I chose “Attended User” radio button while creating the account (screenshot below)

  2. Create a Machine Template (also tried Standard Machine). Both of these options ask for a unattended license. I don’t understand why to enter unattended runtimes when am trying to setup an attended Robot)

  3. The connection is established when Machinekey/ClientID is entered on the Machine use the Assistant but but cannot retrieve the license though the user created in step 1 has an attended license attached to it

Appreciate your help
Regards
Hara

Hi,

If you want to connect your attended robot with OC using machine key, can you try to turn on Hybrid at Tenant - Settings - robot security?

Then input your domain\username at settings of attended.

Or try interactive sign-in instead of machine key/ClientID

Regards.

@Yoichi , it doesnt work. its already set to use Hybrid

Hi,

Is it Attended robot (user) authentication settings?
If it’s hybrid, Domain/Username settings appears in user configuration as the following. Did you set domain and username?
