Why yes, we do look a bit different today!

Why yes, we do look a bit different today!

We’ve tidied up our Cloud Platform portal experience. It’s a modest first step to some ambitious longer-term plans, but we’re flattered you noticed, just the same.

The goal of the change is simple: we want to make the UiPath Cloud Platform even easier to use as it evolves and learns new tricks. That means having a modern design that makes UiPath capabilities easier to discover as we add them over time while improving overall usability.

Hopefully, you also noticed what hasn’t changed today: easy access to the functionality you use every day. We’ve kept most elements in the same place – so that you can get things done while you get used to the new look. The Orchestrator services haven’t changed at all, and the small number of items that have moved around in the portal should now be more discoverable than they were before.

If you’d like to know a little more about why the change and where we’re heading, please read on, if you have thoughts, good or bad, about the experience, we’ve love to hear them through the UiPath forum. We are here to make your UiPath experience better and easier.

Back in May 2019, we released our new logo and explained a little bit about the design philosophy. The UiPath Cloud Platform is the first product to use this new language and our new design system.

In this release and all that follows, we’re trying to do three things:

  1. Improve usability with a humble and well-researched approach that listens to you, our customers.
  2. Build a modern design system that will support the future of UiPath while being beautiful and a joy to use.
  3. Provide for easy discovery and use of our automation tools unobtrusively, letting you get your work done.

One example of where we think we’ve made things easier even at this early stage: the Cloud Platform portal now gives you one-touch access to your tenants/services, as well as an “at a glance” view of your existing license distribution.

Another example: Audit logs were previously a bit of a treasure hunt if you weren’t an old hand at it. Now, everyone can quickly and easily check the status of the system in detail, without diving through various menus to find the way in.

We hope you like this first step and find it easier to use than before. As we roll out new capabilities, you’ll see more and more benefits to the change in design, we promise. The product design team here at UiPath is committed to listening to your feedback as we improve on these experiences. Please let us know on the forum what you like or don’t like over the next few months, and we will take your feedback into our plans to keep making it better.

Thank you, again, for being a UiPath Cloud Platform customer. We appreciate it!
The UiPath Team.

Thanks for the email Michael. If somebody does not know anything about AI, and they start using your software, how soon do you think a company may hire them?

Thanks,

excellent all in one page (Earlier when you click Services, the Orchestrator opens in a new tab in Edge and Chrome).

Just noticed in MS Edge Version 44.18362.449.0, the “Other Services” link appears like this, not sure if anyone else having the same issue! there’s no other issues in IE and Chrome browser.

It is becoming more complex for new users i think you should have levels in access the plaform for example new People should have simple orchestrator capabilities.

I like the fact that you can request the enterprise trial version to tryout for 60 days
