I notice you have a semicolon “;” at the end of the website address… If I add the semicolon to the end of the url I get the same thing as you…

Also, it looks your editor window is displaying an Application path instead of Browser url, so I wonder if it will recognize the boxes if the url addres is valid.

Looks to me like you don’t have the Chrome extension enabled. You can enable it from
Home > Tools > Chrome

Thank you for the response… I have enabled Chrome & Excel Add in both for Studio and StudioX. Unfortunately it works only some of the times.

do you have multiple chrome profiles?

No… I just have one chrome profile… but usually have 2 - 3 windows open with couple of tabs in each.

I have reboot my system and even tried shutting down all chrome windows and retrying. Getting a same error as it picks chrome as an application instead of browser and does even allow me manually add the link to a webpage. I can send you screen shots if you are interested.

Thanks again for your help.

Thank you so much Ann. I had an application error because it says Application Path instead of Browser URL

John

Hi John,

I actually ended up getting that error myself, very briefly, when I switched to a different computer, but the issue resolved as soon as I closed and reopened UiPath - and no matter what I do now, I can’t reproduce the issue. So I really have no idea what caused it…

Recently, I had a different type of issue that was resolved by updating the packages (specifically UiPath.UiAutomationNext.Activities) - It’s probably a long shot, but I wonder if that would make any difference for the Application Path issue?

Ann, you could be right. I know I click on the a different spot first time around. It said Window something (some type of screen indicator). The next time I clicked in the general area of the Unicorn name creator website.

Take care and Be Well!

John
