What is difference between template and library?

just want to know some differences between both of them,cuz i felt like they basically does the same work.Both we need to publish and both have created workflows to use them later.

Hi,

Both is categorized as reusable component. Each feature is as follows :

Template (Project Template) : This includes workflows, project settings etc. We need to add / modify activity, workflow etc. to it.

Library : This includes activites. We can use it from activities panel.

Based on my understanding

  • Library will act as Activity
  • Template will be the workflow or skeleton of the process
