Virtual PC automation

Hello,

Did any one tried or used virtual PC aplications to automating using UiPath? Though I understand it is like citrix or rdp just like hear experience.

Basically the applications are installed in virtual PC and its accessed from desktop.

Yes, it can be done using citrix way of automation.
However, you will need to try several options to make your automation robust.
In other words it will require more testing time and fixing them to get the automation run in all possible cases.
So it is a doable task I have done as a POC.

Hi there,

If you are running the robot on the virtual machine then standard automation practices can work, i.e. using selectors and the like.

Otherwise your robot will view this as an image and you need to use citrix methods.
