Unable to select objects with UI Explorer

Hello,

Can any of you folks make sense of what I am seeing here?

No matter where I try to use the tool on that pop up window the selectors don’t make sense to me. They don’t actually encompass objects like I would expect. Is it because this is a window overlaying another window? Am I grabbing selectors on the background window?

Hi @FireflySeason2,

I’ve seen this too, don’t worry about the visual highlights not being on the exact object. Please check the UI elements on the explorer if it is pointing to the right values. One way to tell is by checking the Visual tree and see if you see the parent and nearby elements are right.

Well that was a pain drilling through those trees to find the relevant stuff but it worked.
