Hello, I have recently been going through the “Desktop Automation Citizen Developer Foundation” course and have run into an issue with publishing the automation the course had me create.
I can seemingly publish the automation without issue, but when I go into UiPath assistant to view and run the automation, nothing exists. I have ensured that I am publishing it to the correct location and that I am signed it with the same license on both the developer and assistant but have not seemed to figure out what is causing the issue.
The weird thing is I can see the automation in the Orchestrator, so it seems like my Orchestrator and Assistant are just not connected. Any help with resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
Open UiPath Assistant, go to Preferences, then Orchestrator Settings, and enter the correct Orchestrator URL and Machine Key. Click Connect and ensure the status shows Connected, Licensed. Refresh UiPath Assistant, check if the process is in the correct Orchestrator folder, and verify robot assignment under Tenant → Machines → Robots. If the issue persists, restart UiPath Assistant and UiPath Robot service, then check Orchestrator logs.
I updated the orchestrator URL to what I think is the correct one but have gotten no change. It only allows me to do either the URL or machine key, not both.
Are you publishing your package to your personal workspace or some other folder?
If its another folder, are you added to that folder? To be able to publish/access processes from a folder, you should be added to that folder in orchestrator.
Are you connected to the same tenant , you are trying to see automations from?
To create machine in orchestrator and retrieve its machine ley, follow below video:
