Unable to get mails from Public Folders with Get Exchange Mail Messages

Hi there

I’m unable to access Public Folders with the “Get Exchange Mail Messages” -activity. I found an old thread with the exact same issue:

It looks like a fix was supplied but I’m currently getting the exact same error: “Get Exchange Mail Messages: Could not find folder Public Folders - xxx.xxxxxxxx@xx.xx.”

Activity has been configured in the following way:

“Get Outlook Mail Messages” -activity works for public folders, but using the exchange activity would be much more robust solution.

I wonder if my activity has not been configured incorrectly somehow? I did try to fiddle with the settings and folder names etc…

In mailfolder may I know why double slash are used

Thanks for the reply! Double slash was tried because that is how it is presented in Outlook, but I did try the same string without the slashes and it will still not work.

Thanks, I have read the contents of that link though and I found nothing helpful I’m afraid. I did try to use a public folder from my favorites with the exact same name, that did not work either.

I found the solution. Instead of the whole string like this:

“Public Folders - xxxx.yyyyyyyyyy@xx.com\All Public Folders\MainFolder\Subfolder”

I simply used “MainFolder\Subfolder” without the public folder stuff and it works. Hopefully this helps someone in the future.
