Unable to create robot in orchestrator (status Disabled)

I was trying to create robot in orchestrator ,not sure why its showing disabled. Attaching the screenshot below.

  1. Did you happen to assign robot role to the user in orchestrator?
  2. Also try to login via assistant and then open

Go to UiPath assistant → preferences → orchaestrator settings.
Choose correct connection type, url etc.
This step should be performed once your machine instance is created in orchaestrator.
Once this is done you should be able to see connected and licensed.

I even check with UiPath assistant to connect ,but still I was having same issue& unable to see robot option enabled in orchestrator.

I tired the same thing, but still not able to open UiPath studio.


Add robot option is disabled. Means you do not have enough permissions to perform the action.

If you assign a robot role to user you should be able to see that user under robots but it is kot visible so you did not assign a robot role at all

The error “No robot configured for the current user” in UiPath Studio indicates that the user you’re logged in with doesn’t have a robot assigned or configured for development purposes. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and fix this issue:

  1. Check User Roles in Orchestrator:

1.1. Go to Tenant.
1.2. Go to Manage Access.
1.3. Under “Assign roles” press on “Edit” for the corresponding user.

1.4. Go to “Personal automations setup”
1.5. Click on “Enable user to run automations”

1.6. Save the Setup.
1.7. Try to connect to cloud Orchestrator thorugh you Studio. It should work now.

2. Verify Robot Creation Permissions:

  • If you’re trying to create a robot within Orchestrator, ensure your user has the necessary permissions. Roles like “Robot Administrator” or “Machine Creator” can create robots.
