Unable to connect Robot in orchestrator

Hi,

I have installed

UiPath community edition version 2019.4.2 - 04/25/2019
Community Edition
EXE Installer

License Provider: Internal
Device ID: BRz6LjDTS2H7E8mE39QjOg==

Update Channel: Stable

Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
.NET Framework Version 4.7.2 or later

As part of orchestrator practice, I followed below steps.

  1. Started UiPathRobot.exe
  2. Logged in to orchestrator
  3. Created machine with my locale machine details
  4. Created standard robot with same machine and its login credentials
  5. Restarted UiPathrobot.exe. But still the Robot status on desktop shows as Robot unavailable and on orchestrator it shows disconnected.

I have even connected to outside office networks but that still didnt work.

the machine name is different buddy between your system and in orchestrator actually it is mentioned as MC0ZHJPC but in orchestrator you have given as TestMachine

make them same as MC0ZHJPC in orchestrator buddy @vishnu.dhangare

I tried making both the names same but still has same issue. Please refer attached.

Buddy @vishnu.dhangare not the robot name , you need to change the machine name

You can change the machine name in machine tab and edit option buddy and try to connect again from uirobot that would work for sure buddy

My bad there :(. I updated the machine name correctly now. I see the system tray icon shows connected but in orchestrator it is still disconnected. Is there anything else I need to update in orchestrator.

No worries buddy ,just refresh the robot tab in orchestrator with a button at right top once buddy, it will get updated and show you connected…
