I’m fairly new so bare with me. I’m using Orchestrator in a Modern Folders setup, and I don’t understand how I publish packages directly to Folder Packages. Can someone explain what I need to get going with this? Publishing to default Tenant Packages works fine… It’s just this custom bit I don’t get.
So today, all of a sudden, top level folder feeds were available to select when clicking publish.
Idk what did it, robot service restart prehaps?
Question remains though, is it possible to have separate feeds for subfolders?
Also, trying to modify and get this going with our production environment, but again, new top level folder created with “Create a new package feed for this folder” option ticked, does not show up in studio in publish options
In UiPath Studio, at the right bottom, there is a place to change your folder. Did you try that?
What studio version are you using?
Hi,
Access to the feed is controlled by the folder-scoped Folder Packages permission set.
-
Go to Tenant > Roles > choose the role given to the robot which is supposed to publish your process > Edit > Folder Permissions > Check at least “Create” permission for “Folder Packages”.
-
Refresh your studio connection to Orchestrator and you should be able to see the folder package option while publishing your process.
PS. The custom field is not used for publishing processes to a Modern Folder. You can use it to publish your process as a .nupkg file on your local machine. This file can directly be uploaded to your desired package folder on Orchestrator.
Best regards
Thank you for replying! However, I can’t get this to work. I’m using an account that is currently administrator, developer, you name it, so I know I have “too much” permissions already on this folder. However it does not want to show me this folders package feed in the publish dialog. Only the default “Ochestrator - Tenant” and “Custom”.
Also, I do not see the folder in the UIPath Assistant under “Workspaces”. If you could help me solve this I’d be very happy.
EDIT: Does it require a specific Studio version? So far I’ve only tested on 20.4.3 and 20.4.4.
