UiPath Studio community edition does not launch

Downlaoded community version of UiPath 18.2.3 version on Windows 10 Pro, does not launch UIPath studio at all. Below is the screenshot of how it looks

When I see the logs it shows 4:54:14:913 => [ERROR] [UiPath.Workflow.Logging.StudioTraceListener] [1] System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file ‘C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\UiPath\UiStudio.settings’.

Tried:

  1. Uninstall and reinstall

Have you tried checking what is located in:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\UiPath\UiStudio.settings

I would try creating that file manually, and attempting to relaunch it. (To find it in Windows search for %AppData% in the launch bar, then navigate as needed.)

I would also try launching UIPath with administrative privileges so it has read/write access. (Right click the launch icon, choose “Run as administrator”.)

hello im unable to launch the uipath studio and deleting the folder of uipath shows me access denied. can anyone help me fix the issue

I would suggest re-installation of Studio to fix potentially corrupted files. On top, please make sure no protection software interferes with installation / run of Studio/Robot. Not having access to the files when launching Studio is often related to that.
