Hi, after installing UiPath extension in Google Chrome, when I try to capture an object i get this error from UiPath Extension:
‘’’
The native part of extension is not configured correctly.
Re-install the extension from UiPath Studio
‘’’
But it’s not helping even after I reinstall. On latest version of Google chrome and UiPath Studio which is 2023.8
When you install the chrome plug-in you have to go to “Manage Extensions” and enable the UiPath extension in order for it to work. I had a similar problem but I couldn’t enable it because my company has a ver strict policy, so I had to scale this problem to the higher-ups and they had to unlock it for me.
Even this doesn’t work for me. I have update the manage packages and tried multiple times to install/uninstall the chrome extension, its not working. This has happened recently after some update(BUT NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE REASON). Please help.
Manage Packages has nothing to do with the Chrome extension. You install the Chrome extension through Studio’s Home tab. Then you go to Chrome and enable the extension. (Note that this only installs for the current user, if you want to install for all users it will have to be done by someone with administrator permissions)
If you do that and the extension still doesn’t work, talk to your network admin/security team - they are likely blocking extensions and will need to whitelist the UiPath extension.
If the UiPath Chrome extension is installed but not visible, it might be due to Chrome group policies interfering with the plugin. Please check the relevant Chrome group policies to ensure they allow the extension.
