UiPath | Job Recording in Orchestrator | Video and Screenshots | 2023 UiPath New Update | Robots

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗜𝘁 ?
With Job Recording option in #UiPath #Orchestrator, we can capture the last 3 minutes of the #robot execution, which can be helpful in identifying issues in the job processing mostly in unattended Robots.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 ?
We have 2 Options : Video and Screenshots.

𝗜𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 ?
Yes (Update to the Latest version)

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 ?
◉ Orchestrator (both video and screenshots) - in the Job Details or in the Jobs extended grid menu
◉ #StudioWeb Preview (video) - under Runs, you will notice a playback icon for executions with Video Recording enabled.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 ?
◉ You can only enable Video Recording via Orchestrator, when editing the process. (Explained in detailed in the below Video)

𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 ?
◉ Recordings will be stored for 7 days and then automatically deleted.
◉ The retention period might be subject to further changes or future refinements. You will soon be able to also delete them manually in the Job Details or via API as you deem fit.

I tried, but all jobs recorded, but only last 3 minutes recorded

This is expected.

You will be able to see only the last 3 minutes of the job. This can help to see where your automation failed.

1. where the video recording file save location?
2. is the recorder running is VM and consuming the VM RAM?
3. How to record the video for 24/7?
4. is there any way to get the recorded video without stopping the job?

I have a fun idea we can record by PC
when start process we can create condition to record
with hot key win+alt+r
when finish jobs end record
It will ensure record all job steps, success or fail
