Terminal Automation(AS400) - Function key not supported

UiPath Internal Terminal is not supporting function keys properly in a screen[F3 – Exit (function key not allowed – error thrown)] . Please need help on this…

Hello Reddy,

Don’t use function key as “F3”,
select from dropdown it as “f3” in send hot key activity

In Terminal automation can i use send hot key activity, for terminal automation it is Send control key activity, from this activity i am selecting f3, but it is not supporting.

I have read the article already. Send control key is for terminal automation. you told to use send hot key activity. send hot key doesn’t work for terminal automation. please go through the link which you have shared once.

I find that sending the contol key “PA1” before sending the function keys fixes this. I think the “PA1” key is a field exit key, but I am not 100% certain. Does anyone know exactly what it does?
