Studio Community in Windows Server 2012 R

I installed Studio Community on a Windows Server 2012 R, the installation went fine and I can open Studio.

But when I try to click on a button, or type something in a text box it fails with the message “23.4.0-beta.12241+Branch.release-v23.4.0.Sha.be54cb29c47168fa58c4ddc437b353fa4a43364e
Studio closed the active project due to a critical internal error. You may retry to open the project.”

When the installation is done on a Windows Server, is there any more detail that needs to be adjusted…?

Does anyone have any suggestions…?

Additional information : This happen only with Modern Activities

The CLICK under classic activities it work fine.

Can you check what is the .net version on your server

Try installing any of these depending on your system requirements and then restart and check…

Modern to properly work need 5 or above I beleive

Hi Anil…
I will try update the Framework, but I don’t think that the framework version is the reason of that crash because my PC has the version 4.8 and it work…

I agree with you on this…But for few users this fixed the issue as well…There is no concrete reason I can give for this, this is something similar that is observed for few
