Send windows mesage

Hello,

I am trying to run a process with the screen locked and when using “SendWindowsMessage” option in a “Type” activity instead of writting "" or “@” writes “º” and “2”.

Has anyone had this problem before? If so, any tip would be usefull.

How to write "@" with "SendWindowMessages" checked?

Hey, Since you’re using Keyboard Messages, you need to simulate the keys that you would press to write the ‘@’ character: Shift + 2. With Type activity is more complicated, you have to use the key syntax “[d(shift)]2[u(shift)]” which says to send the following events: down-shift 2 up-shift. Easier way is to use Send HotKey activity. I attached a workflow that exemplifies these keys in notepad. Main.xaml (5.9 KB)
