Manually Added Images/Diagram Elements do Not Appear When Exported

Whenever I manually add images to a Task Capture, they do not appear in any Word export template that I choose.

  1. Open existing or create a new task capture that was created using the Capture Process (not build your own)
  2. Manually add diagram elements with images or add images manually to existing diagram elements of the task capture.
  3. Go to File>Export>Word (.doc) and select any export template
  4. Open/review resulting file

What should happen is that you see images that were captured via the Capture Process AND steps w/ images that you added manually. What actually happens is that you only see steps and images that were added via the Capture Process. The impact is that I am manually updating the Word export template manually outside of Task Capture which takes a lot more time.

I will add that my coworker is not having this problem even though we’re on the same version (2022.4.11) but for some reason, I am even after uninstalling Task Capture and reinstalling as well as updating to the latest version.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to reproduce this issue and can’t figure out why that would happen. Have you tried saving the task capture file and then reopening it to ensure your changes persist. I would also suggest having your coworker open your edited file and see if when they export to word, if the manually added images appear.

Saving and reopening did the trick. I must’ve been adding diagram elements w/ manually added images without saving and then just going to export. Thank you for your prompt response in helping me resolve this issue!
