Install UiPath not correct

I can’t install UiPath Studio every time I install and open UiPath StudioX
version 2023.10

Can you once uninstall studioX first. Go to “Add or Remove Programs” or “Programs and Features” in Windows, find UiPath StudioX, and uninstall it.
And then again try to install UiPath Studio installer from the UiPath website and you get two options once you open it, Please click on UiPath Studio.


  1. Uninstall and Reinstall:
  • Uninstall UiPath StudioX and the UiPathStudioCloud.msi if it’s already installed on your system. Reboot your computer.
  1. Download the Latest Installer:
  • Go to the official UiPath website and download the latest UiPath StudioX installer to ensure you have the most up-to-date version. Ensure you download the appropriate edition and version.
  1. Run as Administrator:
  • Right-click on the installer and select “Run as Administrator” to ensure that you have the necessary permissions to install the software.

Welcome to UiPath Community !!

No need to uninstall the UiPath Studio, you can just change Profile from StudioX to Studio. To change the profile go to Open UiPath ->setting->Change Profile. Also, ensure Automation Developer Role have been added under Role/Access on Orchestrator.

Prior to the Studio Profile Change (to make it enable), we would require to check if we have the Automation Developer licenses allocated or present in our Automation Cloud we would need to allocate the license to our respective tenants and the user id to the Automation developer group and if the License is not present, then it would mean it is in the Free Plan and you would require to either perform Start Pro Trial or Create another account which should provide you Community License.

After downloading studio you can simply go to Setting - License and Profile - Change Profile - Choose UiPath Studio it will change your Studiox Profile to UiPath Studio

I think you have enabled the free version of Enterprise edition after the expiry of that edition you are not able to use UiPath Studio If you install studio the Studio X will open.

To sort this use another mail Id and create a new UiPath account to use the free version of Community and UiPath Studio.
