Unable to view studio profile

When I am installing the UiPath studio from cloud.uipath.com by default it’s installing the UiPath studioX profile and it’s not showing the studio profile in the settings option, I am installing in my company laptop
please help on the same

Hie @mahesh.ramisetti here you can switch from studio x to studio if this not showing you the you have to go to the official site and install it again



and please confirm with your admn also have they take any restriction on any link or installation or not because it might be causing a problem …

1. Uninstall UiPath StudioX

  • Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  • Locate UiPath StudioX, right-click, and select Uninstall.

2. Download the UiPath Studio Installer

  • Go to the UiPath Cloud Platform or UiPath Community.
  • Download the UiPath Studio installer. Ensure you’re downloading the correct version for your needs.

3. Run the Installer with Advanced Options

  • Open the installer and follow the prompts.
  • Select “Advanced” or “Custom” installation options if available.
  • Choose Studio instead of StudioX during the installation process.

4. Ensure Correct License Type

  • StudioX is generally provided as part of a different license or with limited access compared to the Studio license.
  • Ensure that your UiPath account or license is configured for Studio access.

5. Switch Profiles in UiPath Studio

  • Open UiPath Studio.
  • Go to Settings or Options in UiPath Studio.
  • Check if there is an option to switch profiles. If not, it might be a licensing issue.

6. Check License and Activation

  • Ensure that your license is correctly assigned and that it supports Studio.
  • Go to Help > License in UiPath Studio to verify the type of license you have.

7. Company Policies or IT Restrictions

  • Check with your IT department: Your company might have specific configurations or restrictions that default to StudioX.
  • Ask your IT team if they can provide assistance or adjust the settings to allow the installation of UiPath Studio.

Hi @mahesh.ramisetti, Try to create another account with new organization in UiPath Cloud. Then you will be able to access studio

Assign Developer license to the user id you are trying to login with in UiPath Studio.

By default user gets created/added with Automation Express License which is for citizen developers or business users who are not expected to use advance features of Studio.

Assign Automation Developer - Named User license to your user id and re login into your studio.
