I hope this message finds you well. I am currently evaluating the capabilities of the UiPath Community Edition and would like to clarify a few points regarding its limitations and features. I have been searching for information in the official documentation, but I have not been able to resolve these doubts:
Does the Community Edition license operate based on the number of automation executions? If so, could you please provide details on any specific limits?
Is there any restriction when using the Orchestrator with an API trigger? Specifically, I would like to know if I can perform a POST HTTP request to send data that my automation will process.
In the event that multiple HTTP requests are received simultaneously, does the Community Edition still support executing multiple instances of the automation?
I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your responses.
there is no limit on number of executions you can execute any number…but license for unattended is not present and you get only one license and you are bound to use only for learning purpose
you can use api trigger and perform post and run automation…but as said complete unattended is not present
to run multiple instances multiple licenses are needed and community license has only one so cannot run multiple
having said that you would see an unattended license but you cannot install robot in service mode so when machine is signout or so you cannot trigger but for testing you can keep machine active and trigger automations from orchestrator
Thank you so much for your response! I really appreciate the detailed explanation—it helps me a lot in understanding how the Community Edition license works. I now see that it is mainly intended for testing purposes.
What I need to do is an automation to create records in a CRM, where the records would be sent via a webhook. Based on your explanation, I now understand that I would need a paid license to properly handle this scenario.
