Im using microsoft 365 scope to read mails. i need to save the mail in .msg format. when i try to open but it is throwing error. .

For .eml format there is no issue . only when you save in .msg format it is throwing error.

If you’re attempting to open an MSG file in Outlook that’s already open, it won’t work. Close the file in Outlook before trying again. If you’re not allowed to access or open the MSG file due to permission issues, you’ll encounter problems.

Ideally office 365 mails canbe saved in eml format only…msg is supported for outlook related activities itself as it is a native format for it

After downloading in .eml format can we convert it to .msg format. is that possible.

For that you need outlook application again…if you are using application only then no point in saving in eml…instead use outlook activities and save in msg
