How to work on a recently opened tab

Hello all, I am creating an automation that should open new tabs on chrome and work on those newly added tabs, I am using “use application/browser” and I manage to get the tab open but every time I go to do something the BOT selects the main tab, I am not using the classic activities, is there any way for me to make it so that the place that gets the inputs is the new tab?
I’ve searched for several post but didn’t clearly understand how to do so without using clarric activities

Hi @goncalo.rocha ,

Could you let us know how have you implemented this approach ? We might be able to assign an Output variable to the Use Application/Browser activity and use it to perform the specific tasks for that tab by using it as an Input in the Next Use Application/Browser Activity.

However, the above suggestion might not be totally clear as it also lacks some details of implementation from your end.

Let us know the details so we can help further. If you have already found the solution, do post it and mark it as the solution so that others can be benefitted from the solution.

After the new tab opens, you have to use another Use Application/Browser to attach to it.

  • Use Browser - say we go to Google.com
    – Right-click image and select open in new tab
    – Use Browser to attach to the new tab
    — do something in the new tab
    – /end of second Use Browser
    – now we are back to the original scope, the original browser that’s at Google.com
