How to resolve the Issue of Robot Unavailable

Why dont you try and convert your Standard bot to Floating?
Its in the option of your standard bot.

See if it connects

Hi i tired the same as u said as soon as i clicked convert to floating robot status is changed to disconnected

Disconnect you robot tray, create a machine template and then try to connect the robot tray again with the unique machine key

tired all possible ways still robot is not available
only standard robot for standard machine is working fine

This helped me! Thanks! Actually I was giving Machine name as Someother Name instead of actual Machine Name in Orchestrator Machine page

@loginerror Thanks specifically pointing out whoami command.
If any one is still struggling. Here are my steps to resolve “Robot Unavailable” error for 2019.4.0 version

  1. First created environment say “XYZ”
  2. Added a robot Clicked on “Standard Robot” button
  3. Form pops up to receive the required details.
  4. Be informed that the Machine label will be the name of the machine. I believe it’s auto-fetched but I also remember it that it was not present few times when I was dawdling to connect robot to orchestrator. How to get Machine name is to simply navigate to System properties. Here, the “Computer name” and the “Full computer name” is what you are looking for. Copy it
  5. Fill it in the Pop up form while creating standard robot.
  6. Name label is the one where you will give the name of the robot.
  7. The step for which I thanked. If you don’t know the domain and username. Please don’t resist to open command prompt and give the life saver command “whoami”. The output you get here is the one which should be pasted in the “Domain\Username” field.
  8. Password will the system password.
  9. Type you can select as per your need.
  10. Click on Create.

You could see the orchestrator is still not connected as we have still not passed the details in UiPath robot.

Navigate to place where you will find Robot exe file. It’s identified as “UiPath.Agent”, you will find it in the Appdata folder. Click on it.

This instance will be available part of show hidden icons button on bottom right corner of your system.

Click on it. It is basically a small window. On top right of it click on Settings icon.

Click on “Orchestrator setting” list item.

What you will see next is the Orchestrator setting window.

The first textbox is auto-populated with the Machine name.

Next, in orchestrator URL you have to give the URL as mentioned “https://platform.uipath.com” without quotes.

Then the next textbox to fill is the Machine key. You get in the “Machines” label of the orchestrator.

You have to click on the information icon to view the Machine key. Copy it.

You are all set .

Now just click on Connect button to get your orchestrator and robot connected.

Thanks!

No error message appears UiPath Robots is showing “Robots unavailable”; UiPath Machine is showing DESKTOP-66Q9743, Template and No Robots; UiPath Robots is showing DESKTOP-66Q9743; desktop-66q9743\brener zamperlini; Development Floating and Disconnected.

I don’t have Orchestrator License because I am doing the Courses…

I tried the steps but I keep getting the status Robot Unavailable and the mouse over says The machine key is linked to another machine. I’ve tried deleting and clearing everything and starting from scratch, but I can’t figure out how to connect.

Hey All,

I had this problem just now. We tried putting in my Local Admin credentials in Orchestrator and it now connects and runs the workflow. The UiPath icon in the system tray now says “Connected, licensed”

Hope this helps.
