How to check out a file via TFS?

Hi all,

I have a question on how to work with TFS properly. I connected UiPath to our TFS and uploaded the project I’m working on.

When i want to open that project, it asks me to which offline directory to save the files. That all works like a charm, but the next time, it’s telling me that the default checkout location is not empty. Which makes sense because it saved the files there previous time. Does this mean I need to manually empty this directory every time I stop working on a process? Or select another checkout directory every time? :face_with_monocle:

Hi @MatthiasVG

Is there a reason for you to disconnect from the TFS? Normally, you would want to connect to your source control for a particular project and that’s it. If you check in all the files, close the project and then open it anew, it will remember that this project is part of a TFS and you will not have to choose a different folder.
