Hotkey activity in RDP

Hotkey activity not working in disconnected RDP session. Open browser, click and set text activites are perform without any issue. but hotkey show time out error when RDP is disconnected. If RDP is connected no issue.

I was also facing same issue. I would say, don’t use hot key in RDP, use actual mouse clicks and typing activities to achieve your goal if possible.

For example I was trying to use Win + R and type cmd to open command prompt but it did not worked so as a workaround I clicked on Windows logo, typed cmd in search textbox and clicked on command prompt.

Try achieve your activity by using mouse clisks and typing activity. Good luck…

Just curious, are you having the RDP window maximized?

I need to close RDP. Any Idea about how to perform Hotkey event in closed RDP.
