Firefox extension doesn't work

Hi.

I’m changing my “Open Browser” from Chrome to Firefox and, after installing the firefox extension, the UiPath Studio show me an error:
“Cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath extension.”

How can I solve that? The UiPath extension is not working?

Helllo @ddpadil,

I was troubleshooting but in the step "2. Navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\UiPath key. " I can’t find that KEY.

Can you help me??

Can anyone help me?? I need to work with firefox browser and it’s not running with UiPath.

Hello there,
Not sure why you unable to locate the path :thinking:
Can you skip that step and proceed with next main step :

  • Open the Registry Editor.
  • Navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\NativeMessagingHosts\com.uipath.chromenativemsg key.
  • Open the (Default) REG_SZ value. The Edit String window is displayed and should contain a path similar to C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Local\UiPath\uipath-ff.json.
  • Open the .json file at the path found above with a text editor (Notepad).

If error still persist then please reset setting and uninstall the extension restart the system and install extension again.

PS: please try with Firefox 32 bit in case you have 64 bit.

Try on new updated Firefox or chrome version!! May be its work… :slight_smile:
