Can someone please tell me what is the difference between file Diff(Workflow diff) and Compare Files?

Hi Sadhi,
I see no one was able to give you a straight answer… If this consoles you, I’m also struggling to get the difference. However, I can say the main difference is that:
Compare files in the same automation project either in local or versioned files (more details here)
while
Workflow Diff is comparing changes between a process, library, project.json , file in a local repository and the latest version from GIT, TFS, or SVN. (more details here)
In my understanding, “Compare files” can be used for projects that are /are not added to a remote repository. Suppose if the project is disconnected from TFS/SVN/GIT, Compare file option is available to compare files locally. Whereas “Workflow Diff/Show changes” is available only when it is connected to a remote repo as it compares the files between local repository and remote repository
